Paul Gilbert Jaffeux
Role: Past Chapter Commander
Date of Passing: March 5, 2026
We are mourning the loss of Past Chapter Commander Paul Gilbert Jaffeux. Commander Jaffeux served several tours as Chapter 50 Commander in the early 2000s. We are sharing a message from the family provides viewing and funeral arrangements. “It is with gratitude and reverence that we share the passing of Former Commander Paul Gilbert Jaffeux. Your work empowering veterans and ensuring access to benefits and services brought Paul comfort and peace. Your advocacy and compassion for those who served will always be remembered by our family. Paul’s visitation and funeral service will be held on March 14 at 2 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church, located at 9600 Midlothian Turnpike North in Chesterfield, Virginia. Following the service we will gather for the committal where military honors will be rendered, and afterward there will be a reception lovingly hosted by the women of the church. We wanted to ensure you were informed, honored, and included in remembering his life. Thank you for walking alongside Paul in whatever capacity you did over the years. The support you offered brought meaning, dignity, and connection to his journey — and for that, the family remains truly blessed.” — DAV Chapter 50 Executive Leadership.
