DAV recognizes that women veterans are a vital and growing part of our nation’s military and veteran community. Supporting women veterans is important because they have served with courage, sacrifice, and dedication across every branch of the Armed Forces, often while overcoming unique challenges during and after their service. By creating outreach efforts and recognition events focused on women veterans, DAV Chapter 50 helps ensure they feel seen, valued, respected, and connected to the resources and camaraderie they deserve. Our commitment reflects the belief that every veteran’s service matters and that empowering women veterans strengthens not only our chapter, but the entire veteran community for future generations.
